JOYCE ANDERSON: ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Art is an expression of my life. Sometimes words can't come close to describing how we feel, think, or how we see things in the world. But through my paintings and sculptures, I CAN express my thooughts and feelings.

Somehow I was given this "talent" or "gift" so I can share the vision of the wonderful things in the world.

Sometimes things aren't so wonderful, but through my painting I can make those troubles all disapear. I know that though art and paintng, life can be as magnificant as it can be!

With my students as well, I teach them that art is the path to a serenity!
